A wide channel plate heat exchanger designed by KDP for a tropical fruit concentrate processing system.

This is a wide channel plate heat exchanger designed by KDP for a tropical fruit concentrate processing system. The system is divided into three levels of processing flow. The first stage is raw material pretreatment, using the unique 3-6mm channel spacing of wide channel heat exchangers to gradually heat up mango pulp containing pulp fibers through circulating hot water, effectively avoiding the fiber blockage problem of traditional tube heat exchangers. In the second stage of evaporation and concentration, the wide channel design maintains a turbulent velocity of 0.5-1.2m/s for high viscosity materials at 85 ℃, which increases the heat transfer coefficient by 40% compared to conventional equipment. In the third stage, a cross flow waste heat recovery structure is used to reverse heat exchange between secondary steam and cold raw materials, combined with a pulse type automatic cleaning system, to extend the continuous operation cycle of the equipment to 1200 hours. This plan reduces energy consumption of the production line by 28%, controls the coking rate of fruit pulp below 0.01%, and reduces annual maintenance costs by 150000 yuan.
